A Hyaluronic acid filler is injected into the deep dermis to add volume to the Nasolabial fold which lessen the appearance in jowl lines. FDA approval of Juvederm has shown consistent, safe, and satisfactory patient outcomes.
Off-label uses around the mouth, eyes, nose, and some scars have enabled patients to see direct benefit for 6-8 months. This longevity is typical when Juvederm is properly injected. Overfilling can be limited with good technique and careful planning.
